crosswave is the place where new order meets phoenix. the moment in music where blue monday becomes new york excuse. the intersection where manchester meets madison avenue. the night where one girl’s vinyl crashes headlong into one boy’s ipod.

this is crosswave. now get out there and dance.

Weren’t you just thinking “it’s been a long time since I’ve gone out dancing?”

Good thing crosswave is here to save the day with a dance party that’s sure to be the hottest thing you do this winter. Come meet us at Spike Hill, on Saturday February 18th and fall in love on the dance floor with crosswave’s Bloody Valentine.

We’ll be spinning between bands and then having a good old dance party proper from 11:30 pm. And unlike whatever obligatory date you go on the previous Tuesday, the whole thing is free.

2011 has come and nearly gone, and crosswave has been busy working on a new venture. In July of this year we joined forces with upstart Brooklyn radio station BBox Radio. A fresh voice in Brooklyn, BBox is bringing the beat from a shipping container in the Dekalb Market.

You can catch crosswave there live every Tuesday night from 9-11pm, or head on over to our show page for on-demand podcasts. (Plus, watch this space for weekly playlist updates!)

As a special treat, you can come bust a move to some modern indie dance music from DJ Tobytech and your favorite new wave dance jams from DJ leblanc this Sunday, October 16th at the BBOX Kickstarter BLOWOUT!

Please help us kickstart BBox’s fundraising efforts here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bboxradio/bbox-radio-turn-up-the-beat-of-brooklyn

See you on the Dekalb Market dance floor! This show is all ages and free, and beer and food will be available for purchase at the market!
